About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sree Narayana College of Management Studies, Periya, was established as a quality sustenance measure. IQAC is a part of the institution’s system and works towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. It is committed to improving the quality of education offered by the institution, ensuring that it meets the standards of excellence set by various academic bodies and regulatory agencies.

The IQAC is responsible for the development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities. The cell facilitates the creation of a learner-centric environment, conducive to quality education, and also provides faculty with the required knowledge and support for participating in such activities. IQAC engages in regular interactions with stakeholders to enhance and sustain quality in education.

Furthermore, the IQAC functions as a nodal agency for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices. It also plays a vital role in documenting various programs/activities of the institution, leading to quality improvement. The IQAC works to institutionalize the culture of quality by internalizing the quality processes within the college, promoting the development of quality culture in the institution.

Objectives of IQAC

  • Develop and apply quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
  • Facilitate the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty development to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning processes.
  • Arrange for feedback responses from students, parents, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
  • Disseminate information on various quality parameters of higher education.
  • Organize workshops and seminars on quality-related themes and promote quality circles.
  • Document various programs/activities leading to quality improvement.
  • Act as a nodal agency for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices.
  • Prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC.
